Andrew Johnson circa 2008:
the latest addition to moteer's worldwide micro family comes in the shape of a collaborative venture from american artists tokyo bloodworm and brael. hailing from a handful of locations (new haven, ann arbor, arizona.....) their work of collective love gives rise to the 13th moteer release, living language. if we're absolutely honest we never did get around to asking just how the two collectives hooked up, we like to think their eyes met across a crowded room and they bonded over a few pints and a shared love of microbeats, post rock beauty and warped lo-fi bedroom experiments. their joint venture certainly ticked all the boxes for the moteer records crew. the album living language is a product of tapes, cds and files sent, remixed, resent and remixed between the two artists over the course of a year. the result is a delicately woven mix of sigur ros, talk talk, northern picture library and the remote viewer, all shimmering beauty one minute and sparse instrumentation the next.

Incredible atmospheric cinematic ambient like neoclassical beauty. If blissful serenity was an album this would be it. simply can not give it enough credit. Such a deep, emotional and mesmerizing experience. Your thoughts will drift into it so effortlessly. A mix of melancholic and hopeful songs with incredibly soothing and expansive soundscapes. It really does wonders for ones' mental being and brings such blissful joy that by time it's over you won't feel the same in the least. Magnificent CottonMouthJoe
A wonderful musical collection that shows the unity of the whole world and the support of Ukraine during the long war, which will undoubtedly end with the victory of Ukraine. And now the terrible numbers... Only according to official data as of today #russiaisaterroriststate killed 510 children in Ukraine, injured another 1141 children, kidnapped 19546 children. There are many more unofficial victims. And russia remains a member of the UN... desynkro303
One of the most stunning albums I've ever heard. Beautiful and meditative. The album is aptly titled, as the music brings forth images of light filtered through fall leaves and reflecting from forest streams. If there was ever a soundtrack for contemplative "shinrin-yoku", this is it. Highest recommendation. Randy Arnold
